Palmetto
is the most popular selling turf worldwide and with good reason, it is the softest leaf, hard wearing buffalo with a stunning emerald green colour in summer and stays greener throughout winter than other varieties of buffalo. With superior drought frost , salt and shade tolerance it realy is the best lawn for any area.
Palmetto buffalo is a slower growing grass which means less time behind the mower and more time to enjoy the best lawn on the street.

Over a two year evaluation Palmetto had a rating of 55% better winter colour than Sir Walter and a rating of 158% better winter colour than Shademaster.
Research also showed Palmetto needed autumn fertiliser to achieve outstanding winter colour.
Don’t come back to a jungle after your holidays. Palmetto can be left a lot longer without any maintenance or mowing without becoming too tall, untidy or invasive compared to Sir Walter and Shademaster Buffalo’s. After approximately 20 weeks Palmetto was 49.05mm lower than Shademaster and 51.55mm lower than Sir Walter. Palmetto was also observed to be more uniform and less invasive than the other Buffalo’s.

Kenda Kikuyu

Kenda is the newest variety of kikuyu on the market, there have been some vast improvements to the traditional ki. Kenda is a less invasive breed of Kikuyu meaning less weeding of your gardens and less mowing will be needed. kenda holds it's lush green colour over the summer months where as the traditional kikuyu tends to yellow off slightly
Kenda Kikuyu has a darker green colour than regular Kikuyu. It is more disease resistant than the common kikuyu grass.
Kikuyu is highly water efficient, salt tolerant and ideal where drought and wear tolerance are paramount.

Kikuyu grass is a warm-season grass that spreads quickly and thrives in areas with moderate temperatures. It can tolerate heat and will do well under relatively shady conditions.

This grass is still the cheapest and most vigorous growing turf on the market , it is used widely in both commercial and domestic situations.
Kikuyu grass has a low disease incidence and is susceptible to cold temperatures, but is able to recover quickly from moderate wear or severe injury.
Kikuyu grass is a low maintenance grass except for regular weekly mowing and a little more maintenance than the newer Kenda Kikuyu grass. It can tolerate low fertility and high heat. It can recover from drought conditions. Kikuyu grass has a low tolerance for cold temperatures. It has a tendency to "scalp" when mowed short.
